Town of Eston

Welcome to the Town of Eston – a vibrant and friendly community located in the heart of West Central Saskatchewan, where Highways 44 and 30 meet. Rich in rural charm and modern amenities, Eston offers the perfect blend of small-town warmth and essential services.

Our thriving business district includes everything you need: a grocery store with fuel and liquor vendor, pharmacy, restaurants, motels, banks, a gift shop, and more. Local tradespeople—including plumbers, electricians, welders, and contractors—serve both residents and the surrounding agricultural sector. Eston is also home to businesses that support our strong farming and oil industries.

Healthcare is well supported in Eston with access to locum physicians, a nurse practitioner, a local clinic, a health centre, long-term care, emergency response, and a dedicated fire department and RCMP detachment. Educational needs are met by a K–12 school right in town.

Recreation is at the heart of Eston life. The AGT Community Centre is a hub of year-round activity with hockey, figure skating, curling, bowling, pickleball, and more. During the summer months, the Eston Lions Brummund Associates Swimming Pool offers lessons, Aqua Fit, lane swimming, and public swim times. We also have a dance school, group fitness classes,  and the Wheatland Club which hosts Chace the Ace, Bingo, potlucks and more for adults.

Cultural and heritage preservation is celebrated at the Prairie West Historical Centre and three designated municipal heritage buildings. Green spaces and parks, including an in-town campground, offer peaceful spots for outdoor relaxation.

Eston is home to four churches—Eston Full Gospel, Holy Cross Anglican, Sacred Heart Roman Catholic, and St. Andrews United—welcoming people from all walks of life. The Eston Airport, just outside town, features two paved runways to accommodate regional air travel needs.

Nestled within the Rural Municipality of Snipe Lake No. 259, Eston lies in an area known for both its rich oil reserves and high-quality agricultural land. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hunting, fishing, and exploring nearby natural beauty.

Just 20 km to the south, the South Saskatchewan River and Eston Riverside Regional Park await, offering camping, a golf course, swimming pool, recreation hall, and access to the nearby Lancer Ferry crossing — a true prairie oasis.

Whether you're visiting, relocating, or just passing through, Eston welcomes you with open arms, deep roots, and wide-open possibilities.
