You’ve heard the rumors…. Economic Development is proud to announce ‘The Jug Bar & Grill’ is set to open in Eston July 1 2018.
Proprietors Taylor and Mandee Shea and Ben Code are excited to share their new business venture with the town of Eston. Located in the former Coachhouse building, The Jug will be offering lodging, entertainment and alcohol service, along with fresh homemade meals. Eston is known as an artistic community, and the Jug is sure to become the next hot spot drawing guests from in town and beyond. So much more than just a place to grab a beer after work (although you can certainly do that too), this team look forward to bringing live entertainment back to our community. Mark your calendars for July 21, as they already have the first band booked for performance. The Jug is proud to present ‘Road waves’ as their premier live show. With everything from local musical talent, comedians, theme nights, magicians and more the Jug is certain to put a smile on the face of every guest.
The restaurant portion of the business will be run by local gourmet couple, Ken and Chris Durocher. You may recognize Ken as the friendly face across the meat counter at the Co-op, but did you know that the Durocher’s have decades of restaurant experience between them. Add in a passion for fresh, quality ingredients and you have the recipe for success! The Jug Restaurant will be the place to bring the whole family for supper. You won’t find fillers or prepackaged sauces and dressings; everything the Durochers make is prepared from scratch and the taste is the proof. Salads, burgers, unique daily specials will make the Jug Restaurant an easy favourite place to eat. Not in the mood to dine in? They can bring pizza or pasta right to your door! That’s right – Eston will now be home to a delivery restaurant. The Jug restaurant will open for meal service daily at 5pm; make sure to stop in and try the newest flavours in town. The restaurant is opening June 19, 2018.
Beyond the entertainment and exceptional food, these couples know that it is the service that will keep you coming back for more. The high level of customer service was the recurring theme of our interview, with Mandee saying ‘we care about our customers and feel they deserve the best service when they come to the Jug!’ With a business name inspired by a Lynyrd Skynyrd song, The Jug is sure to be unlike anything Eston has seen before. Come for the food, drink and hospitality and stay as you and yours become part of the Jug family.
Economic Development would like to invite everyone in the community to support Eston’s newest business ‘The Jug Bar & Grill’. We look forward to seeing this business become West Central Saskatchewan’s latest hit. We will all be cutting a rug, down at a place called The Jug.
